Think Tactically & Strategically

Revised tactics and strategies and known pitfalls

Collaborate!

Many efforts to stop the genocide have lacked coordination between organisations, with most operating independently. This siloed approach diminishes the overall impact of the movement. Sharing ideas and approaches is crucial, as not all activities within the movement have been an effective use of time and resources.

To multiply your impact, consider collaborating with existing campaigns in your area, building a team around you, or contacting us.

Political Change Is Better Than Humanitarian Aid

Raising money to help those in need in Palestine is commendable and provides essential support for those urgently needing food and water. However, it is significantly more important to advocate for political change that prevents such crises from continuing or arising in the first place. Your time and money should be primarily invested in political and campaigning activities aimed at stopping the genocide as soon as possible.

Target Your Communication

Targeted awareness is more effective than general awareness. Focus your communication on a specific group or community, especially if you are connected to that community as it will have a greater impact. This may sometimes involve awkward or difficult conversations within your community, but please do not shy away from them.

Use Your Leverage

Focus on individuals and institutions where you have the most leverage. This can be challenging as it may risk relationships, but the reward is real change. Target those who can raise awareness of the issue or influence policy, such as your local politician or a company that works with the Israeli regime. If you don't have any leverage, work on building it!
