Boycotting the Israeli regime is one of the most effective means that you can make difference. Boycott those directly or indirectly support the continuation of the conflict. As we have seen in apartheid of South Africa, boycotts can and do make a significant impact.

Consumer Boycotts

Boycott products or services of Israeli companies or companies who have sponsor Israel’s occupation.

We encourage you to go a step further than the main campaign, with a particular emphasis on boycotting Israeli companies with a global presence and even more so if they have links to the Israeli military. We will provide a list of these companies shortly.

Cultural Boycott

Refuse to participate in any cultural or sporting activities hosted by or associated with the Israeli regime. Boycott musicians and artists who openly support the Israeli government during its current genocide. Sportspeople should boycott any competitions with Israeli participants — make your boycott public. Academic Boycott

Do not invite Zionist academics and speakers to events you organise. Boycott any events that have Zionist academics — make your boycott public. Tell us and we will share on social media.

Tourism Boycotts

Avoid any tourist travel to Israel due its record on Palestine. Boycott Israeli airlines.

Workforce Boycott

If you know the business you work for has a significant presence in Israel or benefits from Israeli resources, apply pressure for them to disinvest from the regime. If they refuse, resign from the company, and let them and us know the reason for your resigning.

Divestment

Companies

Encourage individuals, funds, and institutions to withdraw investments from companies that have relationships with Israel. Directly target corporations through shareholder resolutions, protests, and public shaming to change practices or cut ties with Israeli entities. We will be documenting key companies to disinvest in the coming weeks.

Investment Funds

Put pressure on corporations with a large amount of investment capital with Israel.

Convince pension funds, university endowments, and other large investment entities to divest from specific companies or countries. Focus on ethical investment funds initially.

Sanctions

Push your government to apply sanctions to the Israeli regime, in the following ways:

Economic

  • Trade embargoes

  • Restrictions on imports or exports

  • Prevent Israeli supply of goods and services traversing your country.

Financial

  • Freezing assets of Israeli companies and leadership

  • Banning transactions with Israeli banks

  • Restricting access to international financial systems.

Diplomatic

  • Limiting government-to-government contact

  • Cut off diplomatic ties

  • Expelling Israeli diplomats.

Military Embargo

  • Impose embargo related to all and any military support and supplies to Israeli.

  • Prevent Israeli armed forces using the airspace of your country.

Travel Bans

  • Banning travel or imposing visa restrictions on Israeli leaders and members of the armed forces associated with genocide.
